Developing Capability Proposals Workshop

Course Description

Developed by practitioners for practitioners, this new and innovative two-day ‘Developing Capability Proposals’ workshop teaches participants how to design and specify capability systems. This purpose designed course develops knowledge, skills and understanding through a series of structured workshops so that participants learn how to:

  • develop correctly integrated capability system and force designs that address the fundamental inputs that constitute a capability,

  • develop an integrated capability model using simple-to-use, modern system engineering tools, and

  • automatically generate traceable design products from the workshop, such as a Joint Capability Needs Statements (JCNS), Concept of Operations (CONOPS), Operational Concept Documents (OCD) or the associated User Requirements Document (URD).

Who Should Attend

Anyone requiring a practical capability design methodology that can be applied to a broad range of capability systems. Participants may include: capability project staff, senior executives, systems engineers and project managers.
