Reliability Concepts & Growth Programs for Military Vehicles

This two-day course provides participants with an introduction to reliability and maintainability concepts, and the application of those concepts to the planning and management of reliability growth programs tailored for the modern armoured and logistic military vehicle fleets. Participants are introduced to reliability and maintainability techniques that can be applied to optimise system and vehicle availability throughout the asset lifecycle. The course will focus on the measurement, testing and demonstration of reliability performance, and approaches for managing targeted reliability growth programs.  Further details on the course are available in the Course Outline.

FMECA/RCM (Overview) Course

This one-day course provides participants with a comprehensive introduction to the Failure Modes, Effects & Criticality Analysis (FMECA) process as applied to the design of modern armoured and logistic vehicles. Participants are introduced to the FMECA process and its place within the design lifecycle, and then stepped through the process activities required to complete a successful analysis. The course also provides a brief overview of the Reliability-Centred Maintenance (RCM) analysis that typically follows the FMECA process. Further details on the course are available in the Course Outline. 

FMECA/RCM for Military Vehicles (Facilitators) Course

This three-day course provides participants with a comprehensive understanding of the Failure Modes, Effects & Criticality Analysis (FMECA) and Reliability-Centred Maintenance (RCM) processes as applied to the design of modern armoured and logistic vehicles, and the knowledge required to facilitate the conduct of the FMECA/RCM analyses.   Participants are introduced to the FMECA and RCM processes, and how these processes fit within the reliability, availability, maintainability (RAM) program and system design and support life cycle.  The course steps participants through the FMECA and RCM processes in detail, consolidating the instruction with various case studies and student exercises.  Participants are then guided through the process of facilitating the FMECA and RCM analyses, applying the outcomes of the analyses to achieve practical, tangible benefits, and maintaining the analyses through the design and support life cycle phases.  Further details on the course are available in the Course Outline.

FMECA/RCM Facilitated Workshops

We provide three and five day facilitated workshops where paticipants practice FMECA/RMA analyses on military vehicle designs and vehicles. Futher details are available on request.
